The Challenge
The CELA team in EMEA was facing challenges in cross-departmental collaboration and trust, which were causing undue frustration and delays in go-to-market (GTM) strategies. Sub-departments struggled to work together effectively, leading to rushed approvals and a lack of cohesion, especially concerning legal and licensing concerns. The team needed a new approach to foster collaboration and trust, ensuring that every member recognized their interconnected roles within the organization.

The Transformation
Using our multidimensional approach to change
Our session brought about a significant shift in the team’s approach to collaboration. By exploring how each individual’s unique contribution tendencies could enhance team dynamics, participants gained a deeper understanding of their interconnectedness.
This realization reduced resistance to cross-collaborative efforts and helped decrease time-to-market, as teams began to work together more seamlessly. The concepts introduced during the workshop empowered the CELA team to embrace open behaviors, leading to enhanced collaboration and a more cohesive, effective working environment.
Understanding and leveraging individual contribution tendencies can reduce resistance and improve cross-organizational collaboration.
Open collaboration strategies can significantly decrease time-to-market, especially in environments where legal and licensing approvals are critical.
Psychological safety and a shared sense of “we” are essential for fostering a culture of trust and transparency.
The Data Points
Why We Are Different
Our unique approach to understanding how people contribute—rather than just how they work—allowed us to uncover hidden dynamics that were causing friction within the team. By focusing on contribution archetypes and tendencies, we helped the CELA team move beyond surface-level issues and address the deeper, underlying factors that were hindering collaboration.
This method not only removed defenses but also encouraged openness and transparency, which are crucial for optimizing team performance.
You may be asking "Is a project like this worth the investment?"
By addressing the root causes of collaboration challenges, the CELA team can expect long-term gains in efficiency, team morale, and overall project success.
